She was a graduate of Fitchburg High's class of 1969, and a 1971 graduate of Becker College in Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Robert "Brud" Page, her daughter Margaret "Margie" Page Mulcahy and her husband Jack Mulcahy, her son Robert E. She also leaves her daughter-in-law Karen Wonkka Page, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bernie and Don Cummings and sister-in-law, Judy Murphy. Peg is survived by her children, John "Jack" Page and his wife Rhonda, Elizabeth "Lisa" Vincent, Phil Page and wife Diane, and Katherine Page and her partner Joe Furtado, her grandchildren, Jonah and Julia Page and her partner Russell Six, Ryan Page and wife Wendy, Amanda Page and her fiance Amor Columbres, Murphy Page, and Chelsea Mulcahy Emma and husband Josh Emma, her great grandchildren, Delyla Page and Kane Emma. Peg was born in Fitchburg, MA the daughter of the late John F. Our lives are diminished by the absence of her light. We will all miss her as a one-of-a-kind individual who is the last of her generation. The most important thing that can be said of Peggy is that she cared tremendously for her family, friends, and community. Peg was a doer-constantly moving -and wrote a piece on the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the Fitchburg area, and contributed her time and effort to the fund raising effort for the restoration of the beautiful historic mausoleum at Forest Hill. In her retirement she became involved and volunteered with the Friends of Forest Hill Cemetery, and the Fitchburg Historical Society, and was a member and huge fan of the Fitchburg Art Museum. Peggy loved walking with Brud within the quiet confines of Forest Hill Cemetery, and particularly enjoyed the peacefulness of the little frog pond on the premises - her favorite place. Peg continued to be a lifelong learner throughout her life. She was an inveterate reader and managed to maintain her connections with people through Facebook into her 90s. Peg touched everyone she met with love and respect and was generous with her time and practical advice. She was classy, beautiful, intelligent, intellectually curious and a force of nature. Peg approached the world with an open heart and profound kindness along with an interesting sense of humor. Peggy lived her 9 plus decades fully in Fitchburg happily dedicated to raising her 6 beautiful children and selflessly taking care of several of her family over the years. While raising her family she worked in management at Berkey Photo and later joined the Radiology Department at the Leominster Hospital. Peg graduated from Fitchburg High School and attended nursing school in Boston. She had just enjoyed her last birthday party on Friday, November 10th with family and friends. Peggy passed peacefully at the age of 94 after spending a brief but precious time with her family and loved ones in hospice. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School class of 1973, attended Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School and then attended Fitchburg State University where she was an Administrative Assistant to the President, the Public Relations Department, and finally the Fitchburg State University Police Department. She was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg. Jackie was born in Fitchburg on Jdaughter of Jackson and Rachel (Christie) Taylor.
